Description:
This orthesis supports the ankle based on the taping principle. It is a fabric girdle with pads, partially fixated with a Velcro fastener and a rubber belt circularly around both the ankles and under the heel.
Indications:
- ankle sprain without rupture of the ligaments
- ankle contusion
- preventive aid for situations with a high risk of injury to the ankle
- recurrent ankle sprains
- conditions after simple ankle surgeries
- algic syndrome within the region of the tendon of Achilles
- ankle instability
